Snow Day and a freebie

Yea, a snow day. I am enjoying our first snow day of the year, yet at the same time thinking about all those things I needed to do today to get ready for Valentine's Day. I had put together a survey to use after we have read the book "Froggy's First Kiss". Hopefully I'll have the time to slip it in somewhere tomorrow
. So, since I have the time to do a little posting I'm sharing a litter freebie.

I can't believe it is already Valentine's Day. We have just finished Deanna Jump's

Arctic Animals Math and Literacy Fun

and I'll be posting pictures soon. Last week we had our spring parent conferences and several parents commented on how amazed they were at how much their child had learned about penguins, walruses and polar bears. It's been unseasonably warm here but there is actually snow in the forecast for over night. Could it be possible and we might have SNOW DAY? This week I will adding to my literacy and math stations from Julie Lee's
