Fun on the Farm has some great math and literacy activities that I used and the class had a blast. They were really amazed when we change our liquid (ice cream recipe from Deanna's unit) to a solid and we really enjoyed eating it too. We read "Mrs. Wishy Washy" and "The Pigs in the Mud." The class thought it was great when we went outside and made mud to answer the question "Why do some animals like to roll in the mud?" After we made mud, we completed a bubble map to describe mud. We then This next week we will continue farm. I am starting fall/pumpkins the following week so I have been busy looking for fall math and literacy games for stations. I made a sight word game and a pumpkin number sequencing game that I am sharing as a freebie. Feel free to grab it and add a comment. What kind of activities are you doing for fall and pumpkins?
